Oak tripod pedestal table with a central screw barrel. Work commonly attributed to charles dudouyt. Born in 1885, charles dudouyt began an artistic career after studying at the germain pilon school. He painted, drew and earned his living by illustrating publications, notably for calmann-levy and l'assiette au beurre. Then in 1933, he moved to paris. Opting for a contemporary style, he founded the gentilhommière which included a manufacturing workshop and a store where he made furniture, floor lamps and decorative objects. Around 1940. Good condition.
