Mid-Century Modern Pottery Sculpture by Thomas Hellström for Nittsjö Sweden

A fantastic vintage ceramic/stoneware figurine/ sculpture depicting an owl made by thomas hellström for nittsjö sweden. This is one of hellströms' famous animals for nittsjö keramik, sweden. This owl was produced in the 60s, and very much of its time, yet still has a contemporary feeling to it. The design and shape are simple, amazing glazing, which is also what makes is a very special object. It is in a very good condition, only a few faint marks on the glazing, but no schips or cracks, all in all is this a very special vintage object, full of character. It is 16cm (6.29") high and about 18cm (7.08") wide and 10cm (3.93") deep.
