Very nice set of nesting tables designed by Kurt Østervig for Jason Møbler in Denmark, 1960. A fine example of Danish modern design, the set reflects Østervig’s signature balance of functional simplicity and refined craftsmanship. Executed in solid and veneered teak, the tables feature beautifully tapered legs and precisely joined corners with exposed finger joints that highlight the quality of the woodworking. The largest table includes a delicately raised edge, giving it a subtle tray-like form while maintaining clean architectural lines. Each table slides smoothly beneath the next, forming a compact and harmonious ensemble when not in use. With its warm teak tone and timeless design, this set embodies the understated elegance of mid-century Danish furniture. In very good condition with a rich, even patina.
