Scanflex William Watting bookshelf shelf 1950s Fristho Dutch Danish design

Bicolour storage unit by William Watting and Scanflex. Sometimes attributed to the Dutch furniture company Fristho, which may have distributed them at the time. An attractive mix of dark and light solid wood, with lovely rounded details and an open structure. This complete double section is rarely offered. The entire unit is quite stable without support; only the two upper shelves have metal brackets for wall mounting. In good condition, with some signs of wear related to age. It can be completely disassembled for transport or shipping. The feet on one side of the base have the option to place another module. The surface has been polished, with light wear consistent with age and use, and patina consistent with age and use.
