Sirjan vintage Persian carpet fine silk and wool 105x70cm

Antique kilim carpet from sirjan, iran, woven of silk and very fine wool, combining weaving and embroidery by hand. This rare carpet features fine and detailed embroidery in wool and silk, featuring ancient persian symbols: the solar lion, the eagle of the thousand-year-old religion of zoroastrianism, as well as numerous floral and arborescent motifs. This being a decorative rug of fine quality, it is suitable for a sitting area or bedroom, or hanging on the wall on display. Dominant peach tones, bright red and orange on white with pastel yellow, blue, black accents. In perfect condition, has never been exhibited outside the shop. Dimensions l*l: 105 cm * 70 cm.
