"Calysse" armchair Design by Henri Caillon for Erton, France, 1956

Soft, wide, and so comfortable!... Large padded armchair, "calysse" model, designed by henri caillon and produced by erton, france, in 1956 (published in the magazine "art & decoration" n° 56 of december 1956 - january 1957). This armchair, enveloping and very welcoming, was re-upholstered and covered in "raspberry" velvet by its former owner in the 1980s. The padding is totally comfortable, the seat is just right and at the right height for sitting. And get up without effort, the high "winged" back supports the back and neck well..., it's a pleasure! The fabric is clean, without stains or tears, and just shows discreet and normal wear on the armrest tips... Varnished beech legs with normal signs of use. Very good general condition. Back height = 95 cm, seat = 45 cm total width = 75 cm; total depth = 95 cm.
