Odelberg & Olson Scandinavian industrial chair, 1940s

Scandinavian industrial chair manufactured by AB Odelberg & Olson, a company founded in Stockholm in 1884 by Anders Olson and John Odelberg. Swedish design attributed to Elias Svedberg in 1948, who is famous for his furniture distributed in particular by the famous NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) brand. This industrial chair in birch plywood and steel was also published by Knoll and is now exhibited at the MOMA in New York. The set is in good condition and has a very beautiful patina. The chair swivels 360 degrees, the seat is height-adjustable and the backrest is height-adjustable and tiltable. The chair has been cleaned and maintained in our workshop in Sweden, taking care to preserve its unique patina. Variable seat height from 40 cm minimum to 58 cm maximum.
