Scandinavian dresser

This is the ultimate vintage dresser: straight compass feet, a slightly curved tray, a golden thread between each drawer and a beautiful okoumé veneer (good quality and pretty thickness). The drawers are equipped with original plastic skates that help with the slide. Obviously it was covered with a shiny damaged varnish, more so current, so it was removed to be replaced by a natural waterproof oil. It thus regains its matte appearance which highlights the glowing character of exotic wood. Its original handles had been replaced by ugly handles whose style was totally anachronistic. So they have been changed in favor of new gilded handles perfectly in the furniture trend. Although restored, it bears some traces of its use (in passing drawers, on one side), but this is also what demonstrates its authenticity. This is an old piece of furniture, carefully restored. It may, however, show some traces of time that could not disappear, but which do not call into question its solidity or appearance. But it is also what makes its charm inimitable.
