Vintage wall-unit – String shelf by Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning, 1950s Sweden

vintage bookshelf system, Nisse String, designed by the architect couple Kajsa and Nisse Strinning, 1950s Sweden. The wall system consists of four black plastic-coated wire supports between which the teak planks are hung. The system can be used as a wall system or as two separate bookshelves. The String system is from the first owner and marked. Good vintage condition. The teak veneered planks have minor signs of wear. The metal supports are neat and have hardly any damage to the plastic coating.
