Vegetable dish U&C Sarreguemines with handles, Royat model in blue decoration.

Fine porcelain vegetable dish from the Royat model produced by U&C Sarreguemines between 1890-1905, decorated with an elegant grey-blue floral motif on an ivory background. Marked foot and two sculpted side handles, enhanced with fine hand-painted stripes in the colour of the decoration. The decoration combines a pierced geometric frieze at the edge with large stylised flowers connected by soft scrolls. Stamped U&C Sarreguemines: Utzschneider & Cie, based in Sarreguemines, the stamp allows it to be dated to around 1890-1905. Diameter 19 cm, height 10 cm, width from handle to handle 25 cm, depth 7 cm. In beautiful vintage condition, with some signs of use and slight marks of time, wear to the edge, shine (see photos). An elegant and timeless presence.
