Ceramic jug Carstens Tonnieshof

Authentic small ceramic jug from the famous West German manufacturer Carstens Tönnieshof, bearing the model number 462 stamped on the base. Typical of West German Pottery production from the 1960s/1970s. This model is appealing due to its elegant bulbous shape and beautiful glaze work: a textured crackled turquoise effect that is very graphic, which superbly contrasts with a darker, metallic-reflective neck and handle. An ideal piece to add a Mid-Century Modern or bohemian chic touch to your decor. Decoration: silky matte glaze in turquoise tones with a gold rim.
