Very good condition Height 24.5cm Diameter 12cm at the neck Signed on the back R.Brice Biot A-M Roland Brice (1911-1989) and Fernand Léger (1881-1955) Sculptor-potter, a former student of Fernand Léger, he became his official potter from 1949. In his workshop in Biot, he worked on his own creations, reflecting the painter's influence – primary colours, black lines, characters with rounded curves… Brice also focused on free forms, combining utility and beauty through his vases, dishes, and plates. He was a fervent advocate of art in the city and polychromy, a vital dimension for human beings.
