41 cm oval dish in Maastricht earthenware, Clara model

Oval dish 41 cm from the famous maastricht earthenware factory (old maastricht), clara model dating from the beginning of the 20th century. This is fine earthenware made of iron earth. The flower garland decoration is applied by transfer, the delicate stylized floral scrolls in an asymmetrical composition that evokes natural movement are typical of the art nouveau period. The edge is highlighted with molded reliefs adding an additional dimension and testifies to the care taken in the balance between the utilitarian and ornamental aspect of these pieces. The slight cracks in the enamel are natural for an old piece, they do not affect its aesthetic or historical value. Very beautiful service, ideal for a distinguished and romantic table.
