Vintage gold sugar tongs with case

Antique service/sugar tongs in gold with its original box – A. Subran, Surgères. Charming antique service tongs, presented in its elegant original box, bearing the inscription "Sucreries-Cadeau – A. SUBRAN – SURGÈRES". The tongs feature a beautiful gold finish, a finely guilloché handle with geometric decoration, and a particularly well-crafted articulated head. Its fabric-covered box, with a satin and red velvet interior, adds a lot of charm to the whole. Estimated period: 1940s–1960s, probably around the 1950s. Dimensions: Tongs 13 cm in length. Width approximately 2 cm. Box 16x6x4 cm. An original and refined piece, ideal for lovers of antique tableware, table objects, vintage table arts, and collectible curiosities. In good vintage condition, with some visible signs of age and use, particularly on the gilding and the box.
