Linen towel and raw hemp dated 1939

There are still flax straw fibres in the oily, dense and light canvas of this splendid cloth dated 1939 in bethune. It is just 80 years old, brand new, with the stamp of its manufacturer, its handcrafted weaving, the parsimonious format of the time, and its beautiful narrow bedding. Dimensions 62cm x 56cm.
