Alexandre Kostanda 1921-2007. Mug in a brutalist style. Height 13.5 cm, diameter 7.8 cm, depth 10 cm. Signed. Very good condition. Ceramicist born December 24, 1921, in Poland and died November 19, 2007, in Vallauris, France. Apprenticed to Louis Giraud in Vallauris in 1936, he taught ceramics in Biot, France. He settled in Cluny, Saône-et-Loire, in 1942.
