Pairs of large ceramic vases. Period late 19th - early 20th century. Mark under base. No gin or other accident, they are in perfect condition. Dimensions High. 61, larg. 20. Beautiful golden décor with fine gold, vine leaves and grapes, against a blue background of towers. Exceptional dimensions. Marked on the underside of a small axe for Gustave Asch. Frédéric Gustave Asch (1856-1911) had his factory in Tours and then in Sainte-Radegonde (37). Famous for its "blue of Towers", its "Green Empire" and its "peacock blue".
