Coffee table designed by isamu kenmochi, circa 1965. The curved wooden structure, connected by a central crossbar, supports a white melamine top, with a subtle and elegant contrast. The fluid and refined lines of this piece reflect the influence of japanese modernism and demonstrate kenmochi's formal mastery. Conceived as a natural extension of the sofa and armchairs in the same set, this table perfectly embodies the designer's approach: a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional japanese forms, combining functionality, simplicity and refinement.
