Large zoomorphic candy rooster in opaline "fair" typical of the productions of the crystal factory of portieux: late 19th / early 20th. Opaline pressed molded. Great finesse of details: feathers, crest... Materials: turquoise opal glass. Dimensions l13.5 X p10.5xh22cm. Good condition, intact exterior details (crest, tail, etc...), ) note2 small shards at the base/cover border (see detail photo), and visible line inside the lid if one looks transparently under intense back lighting that appears to be an original "incised" in the thickness of the glass (not visible either outside or inside in normal use). Sending in neat packaging.
