The solitary, hans jorg gisiger (1919-2008) Engraving 50x70 cm without frame, 54x74 cm with frame. Swiss sculptor and engraver, hans jorg gisiger was also professor of art history at the university of lausanne and writer. He rubbed shoulders with andré masson, brancusi, giacometti... According to him, "for a work of art to be able to concern the spectators through time and space, it is necessary that the excitement or the idea that aroused it are marked by love, revolt or death".
