African mask symbolising a face topped with a bird, carved from wood. Originating from Côte d'Ivoire, handcrafted probably in the second half of the 20th century. This mask is worn during traditional festivals and celebrations. Very good condition, with an aged patina, please refer to the photos. Dimensions: 14.5 x 3 x 28 cm. Weight: 210 g. This tribal object reflects the excellence of Ivorian sculptors. The finishes are smooth and meticulous, and the polychromy adds a lot of charm and authenticity.
