Hexagonal shaped copper and glass hanging lantern

Vintage french mid century copper and glass hexagonal single light hanging ceiling lantern. The lantern has 6 sides and 12 pieces of shaped glass which are held in place with the copper framework. The bottom of the lantern is closed in and the candle light sits in the centre. To the top of the lantern is a decorative canopy with a large hanging hoop. One of the side panels is a door and is opened by removing a pin which slides in and out. The light is working with french twin core wiring and takes 1 small screw in bulb e14. The copper has a lovely aged patina and the glass is complete with no chips or cracks. The candle drip does have some wear. We recommend that all electrical items are checked by a qualified electrician in your own country to comply with local safety regulations.
