Antique French Aubusson Tapestry with Romantic Scene

Unique French Aubusson Tapestry. Entirely hand woven in wool depicting a beautiful romantic scene between two lovers in a garden landscape with a terrace and columns of a villa or palace. Around 1850 but could be older. Very fibrant and nice natural colours. This tapestry has a beautiful border of flowers and leaves and in the corners the French lily with a griffin on each side. Good condition, despite the age of this canvas, it is in a very good condition and still has its beautiful bright authentic colours. Weight around 3 kilo.
