French Antique Art Nouveau 6-Light Bronze Chandelier Acanthus Detail.The central column is beautifully detailed, culminating in a hanging hoop at the top for suspension and a decorative finial at the base. Six scrolling arms extend outward and are adorned with intricate acanthus leaf motifs. Each arm leads to a leaf-shaped candle drip holder and the candle drips are made of card and show authentic age-related wear, enhancing the piece's antique appeal. Suspended from a five-link chain two of which are ornately designed this chandelier also includes a bar and a decorative ceiling fitter. The chandelier has French twin core wiring and takes 6 bulbs small screw in type E14s.The chandelier's bronze framework is solid and sturdy, showing a rich, deep time-worn patina with pitting and some Verdigris that beautifully reflects its age and history. The candle drips display noticeable wear consistent with age, adding to the piece's authentic antique charm...
