Former brass tripod pot

A delightful late 19th century jar in guilloche brass, finely chiseled, mounted on 3 lion legs. The inside of the pot cover seems to be copper, the outside has an old gold hue nicely patinated. Status: non-uniform patina (a few darker spots); limestone at the bottom of the pot cache. Size. Diameter 15.5cm. Pot depth (in feet)12.5cm. Height 13.5cm. Weight 0.260g.
