Green slip plate stamped GIEN

Magnificent barbotine earthenware plate stamped Gien, with a naturalistic relief decoration. It represents a grooved foliage decoration, surrounded by an elegant woven basket motif. The relief work and the deep-colored enameling are typical of late 19th / early 20th century production, in a very decorative rustic style. Technique: barbotine enameled in relief. Diameter: 19 cm. Perfect condition - no chips or cracks, very well-preserved green color.
