Ceramic vase of a beautiful blue of sèvres and gilded bronze and chiseled, signed on the medallion by the french sculptor and medalist julien prosper legastelois (1855 - 1931). Louis XVI style but napoleon III period (circa 1890). Beautiful decoration of garlands, florets, knots, friezes, acanthus leaves, ... Louis XVI and much more. Medallion signed "j.p.legastelois", where you can see cupid, bow in hand, in a wood. Size: height: 49 cm. Total diameter: 20 cm. To mention, a small break at the level of one of the garlands, this one is restored (see photos). The vase is in very good general condition and will be delivered in proper packaging. "julien prosper joseph marie edmond legastelois, known as julien prosper legastelois, is a french sculptor and medalist, born in paris on may 24, 1855, where he died on april 14, 1931 in the 6th arrondissement. Julien prosper legastelois is a pupil of joseph carlier, henri louis levasseur, georges tonnelier and oscar roty at the paris school of fine arts.".
