The alfenide factory was bought by christofle in 1880. Since 1908 the alfenide punch and a punch of a goat's head in a diamond inscribed in a square has been deposited. Each piece (apart from the knives where it is inscribed "manufacture of alfenide cutlery") have these 2 punches (alfenide and a goat's head) and they are monogrammed cf. The knives have the wooden handle. The service includes: 1 340mm ladle for 312gr. 12 teaspoons of 142mm for 27gr each. 18 185mm dessert spoons for 53gr per unit. 15 tablespoons of 210mm for 85g per unit. 18 189mm dessert fork for 49gr each. 15 large ranges of 210mm for 79gr per unit. 16 small 210mm knives for 27gr each. 17 large 255mm knives for 55gr per unit. I add a very nice service to cut the meat of the house orbrille composed of 3 pieces signed stainless steel orbring on the blade with 2 punches "goldbred" and "6g jb" and having perhaps the handle stuffed with silver (see photo 11). In the last photo you can see the 2 punches of the housewife on the left and the 2 punches of the orbred service on the right. All (with the storage briefcrow) weighs about 11.5kg. The storage briefette has a few tasks and a closure is missing. However it remains in superb condition for its age and closes without problem (possibility to move it without it opening). On top there is the cf monogram. The size of the briefette is 48cm wide and 30cm deep and 16cm high. A very beautiful factory housewife with a certain cachet. Presence of use mark (small possible scratches). Attention the housewife as you can see in the photos is incomplete. Sold in the state as in the photos. All the service was clean with clay and an appropriate protective product.
