A two-tiered brass and smoked glass coffee table, believed to have originated in 1970s italy. This prime example of hollywood regency design features two sheets of tempered smoked glass, housed in a brass frame. The corners and joints of the frame itself are strengthened in a gold acrylic casing, adding a child-friendly aspect to the splendour of this table. The two levels of glass make this piece supremely practical - the level below can house magazines or coffee table books, whilst the top layer can be adorned with ornaments or sculptures. Creator: unknown. Place of origin: italy. Date of manufacture: c. 1970's. Period: 1970-1979. Materials & techniques: brass, smoked glass, acrylic. Condition: good original condition. Depth: 65cm|25.6in.
