A large and majestic Biedermeier chest of drawers from the first half of the 19th century, featuring a rigorous structure and proportions of great architectural purity. The façade showcases remarkable marquetry work, where the natural grain of the wood flows continuously across all the drawers. The straight uprights rest on robust, slightly moulded geometric block feet. The piece has undergone a complete and professional restoration in cabinetmaking. The structure is perfectly sound, rigid, and stable, entirely free from signs of wood-boring insects. The drawers fit perfectly in their slides and operate smoothly. The varnish offers impeccable transparency and mirror-like shine. Not used since its restoration, ready for immediate installation.
