Table designed by Charlotte Perriand for the Hôtel des Trois Arcs in Les Arcs, made between 1967 and 1968. It features a thick circular top made of solid pine resting on a central base in black lacquered steel with four legs. Designed for intensive use, this combination of materials reflects the search for functionality and simplicity that characterises Charlotte Perriand's designs for mountain resorts. Coming directly from the Hôtel des Trois Arcs, this table appears in a period photograph illustrating the snack bar designed by Charlotte Perriand. Made exclusively for this establishment, it belongs to a particularly limited production estimated at around fifteen examples. Provenance: Hôtel des Trois Arcs, Les Arcs 1800. Bibliography: Charlotte Perriand, Hôtel Les Trois Arcs, 1967-1968, photograph by Pernette Perriand-Barsac, p. 78.
