Antique cabinet in fir with green patina Metsä | Hector

Discover Hector, a 19th-century fir cabinet, fully renovated in my workshop, which combines authenticity and contemporary elegance. Its deep English green patina highlights the richness of the wood and gives this piece a unique character, capable of enhancing any interior, from the most modern to the most eclectic. The exterior has been carefully sanded and cleaned, then enhanced with the shade “Metsä N°2076” from the 1825 colour chart, before being protected with a clear wax to preserve the natural beauty of the wood while making daily maintenance easier. Its top drawer and two doors retain their original hardware. The opening systems have been rethought with two elegant vintage silvered brass knobs, which bring light and refinement while allowing for practical opening. Inside, Hector has kept its original look, with two spacious shelves offering ample storage capacity, ideal for your books, crockery, or decorative objects. A hand-renovated vintage piece, in good condition, made of solid fir wood. It may show slight signs of age, carefully preserved or restored to enhance its original charm.
