Rare Pair of Gufram Auditorium Armchairs, Italy, 1980s

A rare pair of original Gufram armchairs, produced in Italy during the 1980s. Part of Gufram's lesser-known contract collection, these chairs were designed for prestigious conference halls, theatres and architectural interiors. Featuring sculptural solid wood side panels, luxurious turquoise upholstery and a distinctive postmodern silhouette, they are both visually striking and exceptionally comfortable. The seats are fitted with a click mechanism, allowing the chairs easier to store and ideal for space-efficient interiors. Both chairs retain their original Gufram embossed Gufram markings, confirming their authenticity. A highly collectible and rarely seen pair of Italian design chairs.
