These remarkable pieces, dated circa 1920, embody the excellence of french interwar design. Material: solid walnut, a noble and warm wood, finely carved. Each chair features refined carving on the theme of the vine: bunches of grapes, leaves and tendrils are meticulously crafted, evoking the richness of nature and the naturalistic elegance characteristic of the école de nancy. Upholstery: seats and backs covered in the original leather, now tired and in need of restoration or replacement.
