Glass and Lucite coffee table by Karl Springer, USA circa 1980

Superb and rare coffee table from the late 70s, early 80s. Model by the German designer Karl Springer based in New York, this table is emblematic of his work with a very refined chic. Composed of 2 thick glass tops with rounded corners (120x70 cm) held by 4 very beautiful translucent solid lucite legs (45x10x4 cm), the table measures 120 cm wide and 70 cm deep (80 cm including the legs) for a height of 40 cm (45 cm at the legs). The tops are respectively 11 and 40 cm high. The latter are slid into grooves at the level of the legs allowing them to be arranged all around the table according to your taste (across the width, depth or at the corners). In perfect condition, we will note just 2 or 3 micro-scratches on the glass and lucite, almost imperceptible and without affecting the aesthetics. A crazy class and design for all types of interiors.
