Rare mid-century pendant with distinctive perforations. Probably by Hillebrand based on a design by Ernest Igl from the 50s/60s. The bright blue shade of the umbrella is particularly eye-catching. The brass details of the pendant and ceiling provide a harmonious contrast. The lampshade is open at the top, allowing for indirect lighting in the room. The light is softly refracted downwards by a glass cap serving as a diffuser. The most striking detail is the perforation. The irregularly shaped holes illuminate like bright spots and break the shape of the umbrella.
