I am selling this designer lamp with metallic finishes and an OSRAM Mini Spot bulb model 41701. A vintage table lamp from the 1970s, designed by Dieter Witte for Osram. The spherical and adjustable body made of stainless steel is attached to the base (made of rigid and durable plastic) by a magnet. Its weight (over 800 g) ensures excellent stability. It received the iF Design Award in 1982. The lamp consists of a minimalist rectangular base to which a metallic sphere containing the bulb is attached, held by an ingenious magnetic system. This device allows for free orientation in all directions, offering great flexibility in lighting. The sphere is connected to the base by a twisted black cable, a typical detail of 70s technical design. Designed as a modular object, this lamp can be used flat horizontally or in a vertical position, making it particularly versatile: desk lamp, accent lamp, bedside lamp, or decorative object placed on a shelf. The switch integrated into the base enhances its functional and sleek appearance. Dimensions: 15 X 8 X 8 cm. In perfect condition, entirely original and fully functional. Please feel free to contact me for any information, arrangements, etc., with no obligation.
