Baguès House gilded brass magazine rack

A solid gilt brass magazine rack with a bamboo motif, by Maison Baguès. The sides are made of bronze-tinted smoked glass. The bamboo motif is present, with rounded shapes on the feet, sides, and handle, while the translucent brown glass sides are rectangular and edged with brass. A very fine piece by the French firm Baguès, dating from the mid-20th century. In excellent condition.
