Pair of bronze andirons

Pretty pair of louis style gilt bronze andirons and their fire bar. The two andirons are detachable from the central bar. The andirons are used: to support the logs without them directly touching the floor of the hearth. This process encourages the passage of air under the logs, which activates combustion. To hold the logs at the front, so that they do not fall out of the fireplace. Nice quality.
