Pair of chairs to queen Louis XVI style

Pair of very good upholstery chairs. The feet are straight and fluted with connecting dice adorned with a rosette. The anterior crossbar is carved with a wrapped-up wand. The fluted armrest consoles are set back from the front feet. We find the pattern of baguette wrapped all around the square back and on the armrests lined with cuff. The chairs have been decoyed (except the back of the back that has kept the original fabric) and it is very trendy to leave them as is, otherwise they are ready to be covered. We found the seat good (but we do not like the seats too hard!), we do not think it necessary to redo it. A linen strap on one of the chairs should be consolidated. The wood structure is painted in very soft colors. We cleaned it slightly and sanded the structure with 000 steel wool to erase small accidents (which is normal given the age of the chairs).
