Art Nouveau barbotine vase with naturalistic decoration of "beetles". Glazed "barbotine" ceramic of fairly thin thickness with a beetle on each side. Deep grey glaze with a slight so-called "metallic lustre" effect. 2 fine handles on the sides. Model number 2090 and origin "Belgium" under the base (unidentified manufacturer). Dimensions: diameter 19cm X H12cm. Very good condition, no chips or cracks. Careful shipping.
