Caramel ochre opaline glass globe lampshade

A very beautiful and very large "opaline" glass lampshade, white on the inside, with a lovely caramel color that gradually deepens to orange. Its shape is also charming, with beautiful proportions. Originally intended for a pendant light, with a little imagination and skill, it could also be repurposed as a table lamp. This color is typical of the 1970s. This lampshade has survived five decades unscathed: it is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips that would be visible once mounted on the pendant. Indeed, the bottom edge has some small chips; I believe these are original imperfections (from the glass cutting process) or perhaps due to friction during installation on the pendant, but in any case, they will be invisible once the glass is in the appropriate pendant fixture. This lampshade measures 20 cm in height, approximately 29 cm in its largest diameter, and most importantly: the part that will be placed on the future structure has a diameter of 26.5 cm and a height of 1.8 cm.
