Superb jug by a master glassmaker in authentic opaline from Empoli / Florence, salmon pink colour with a marbled decoration imitating agate. Large transparent handle applied hot. Glass is well opalescent, with a magnificent translucent glow in direct light. Provenance: Italy. Dimensions: Height 25 cm|Width of body 16 cm (18 cm with handle)|Neck 10 cm. Condition: IMPECCABLE (no chips, no cracks) Note: presence of 1 slight barely visible scratch. See photo. Ideal as a large vase or beautiful retro decorative object.
