Diamond Chair Large Age Space Mid-Century by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International, 1950s

Design vintage Rare grand fauteuil Diamant noir by Knoll International based on a design by Harry Bertoia from the early 1950s. The classic design among armchairs. A design that is both sculptural and functional. Despite the hard material, the ergonomic shape of the chair makes it comfortable even without a cushion. The open mesh makes the chair appear less dominant. The seat shell is mounted flexibly via four rubber shock-absorbing supports that further enhance seating comfort. The chair is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The shock-absorbing supports are still original, have aged accordingly but still function well.
