Set of 5 vintage industrial stacking school chairs Galvanitas model S16

Tough industrial vintage school chairs. Designed and produced by galvanitas oosterhout. Typical of the model are the straight feet made of sheet steel instead of the usual tubular frame construction. The design is reminiscent of the designs by friso kramer and wim rietveld. Material: pressed sheet steel frame in u-profile with a wooden plywood seat / back that is marked on the bottom. A very solid and revolutionary design for the time. Dimensions: h80 X w45 X d50 cm, seat height is 44 cm. Despite the age, in good vintage condition. Special because of its simplicity and above all timeless character. Easy to use because they are stackable. Nice to put them at a sturdy long table in your living room, restaurant or creative work environment.
