Art nouveau fifth wheel with three levels in black

Period: ca. 1890-1920. The wider shape of this three-tiered art nouveau shelf/harness makes it rare and more versatile than most art nouveau harnesses. Its robustness and size make it perfect for displaying larger valuables and/or lush plants; in addition, the front does not have the carved apron allowing the placement of a larger object. All three aprons have a stylized openwork design. The middle level has raised edges on three sides. The furniture was repainted in satin black. State: Good. Solid. Restored and repainted.
