Authentic "Bistrot Riviera" style chair from the 1950s-1960s. Quality handcrafted work, An iconic piece of solar and bohemian design from the Côte d'Azur, with an ergonomic seat providing excellent back support, in excellent condition except for a small minor defect (see photo). Recovered from an old country house. No signature. Made from natural rattan canes bent with steam. Very sturdy and lightweight. Superb two-tone geometric weaving in Rilsan (high-resistance plant fibre) in Emerald Green and Honey Ochre shades. The weaving is impeccable, well-tensioned, and very comfortable. Finished with rattan bindings at the joints. Cross-legged base (stretcher) ensuring perfect stability. Particularly comfortable model thanks to its slightly inclined ergonomic seat (43 cm at the front / 40 cm at the back), offering excellent back support. Style reminiscent of Maison Gatti / Drucker. A timeless classic that fits well in a contemporary living room, a conservatory, bedroom, terrace, or garden... Excellent condition for its age. Healthy structure, no rust. The patina of the rattan is superb. The weaving has a small barely visible defect that does not affect the seat (see photo). Precise dimensions: Total height: 96 cm. Seat height: 43 cm at the front / 40 cm at the back (ergonomic incline). Seat width: 43 cm. Seat depth: 40 cm. Footprint (depth): 52 cm.
