Pair of antique French chairs with original paint.

We are delighted to offer for sale this superb and exceptionally rare pair of antique side chairs with original paint and Victorian Liberty's London upholstery. This set is exceptionally well made and highly collectible; it is very rare to find a set with original paint, and they have a period look, are decorative, and resemble true art furniture from every angle. The patina is what we seek all our lives; it is completely original and unaltered. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished the pair from top to bottom. Regarding the condition, the chairs are solid and stable, the frames have been checked and secured, and the upholstery is Victorian and worn. There will be signs of age-related patina throughout, nothing that one would not expect to see on pieces over 140 years old. Dimensions: Height 83 cm, seat height 47.5 cm, width 41.5 cm, depth 39 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Slight discolouration.
