Important Louis-Philippe period mirror from the 19th century, featuring an elegant frame in gilded wood and stucco with stamped floral decoration and an inner beaded frieze. The mirror retains its original mercury glass, with a beautiful antique patina and numerous visible alterations to the backing, adding a very decorative authentic character. The frame has several old restorations at the lower part, with retouching of the gilding and visible wear. A few cracks and minor signs of use are to be noted, consistent with the age of the piece. The back is made of old parquet and is preserved. A very heavy, large piece that can be placed on the floor or hung.
