We are delighted to offer for sale this very decorative and highly collectible open library shelf by Theodore Alexander, featuring embossed leather shelves. This beautifully crafted decorative piece resembles a work of art. It has three levels, each covered with finely embossed brown leather. The columns of the shelves are elegantly turned, tapered, and fluted, and the edges of the shelves are beveled and finished with sculpted aprons all around. The piece has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. There may be a few slight signs of patina due to age and use, but overall it is in near-perfect condition. The dimensions are height 78.5 cm, width 75 cm, depth 27 cm. The piece is in good condition with wear consistent with age, including minor slight discolouration.
